Stephanie Bush Hoffman graduated from UNC-Charlotte in 2007 where she received a BS in Exercise Science.  She is also certified as a Personal Trainer and a Senior Fitness Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She has worked in the Health and Fitness Industry for over fifteen years.  Her clientele has included various populations such as morbidly obese, youth, beginners, healthy and fit, the elderly and everyone in between.  She also has much experience with (but not limited to) small group training, flexibility training, balance and mobility work and functional training. Stephanie is very dedicated to her clients, ensuring they receive proper understanding regarding the components of exercise as well as nutrition.  She focuses on correct form and takes exercise progression very seriously.  She believes nutrition is a key element many people want to ignore or are not willing to change but that both exercise and nutrition go hand in hand to truly see results in not only the body but also ones health.

Stephanie has found a passion working with older adults over the span of her career. She is currently in year two as owner of her own in-home and virtual personal training business, Fifty+ Fitness, LLC.  With this new opportunity, she plans to help individuals become stronger, more fit, balanced, and healthier from the comfort of their own homes.

“My grandparents were never healthy individuals and I watched as they deteriorated over the course of my life.  As a young teen, I vowed to be healthy and strong.  I began working out at age 14 and haven’t stopped.  And now, I get to give back to other adults that want to be strong and healthy yet need the accountability, expertise and motivation from an outside source.  I find so much joy in watching my clients gain strength, flexibility, and balance as well as feel more confident when playing sports or making healthier choices when it comes to nutrition and choosing activities to participate in,” says Stephanie.

In her free time, Stephanie can be found exercising, reading, hiking with her husband or coaxing her 17 year old son to spend time with her.  She is also mother to a 25 year old son and a stepmother to two teenagers.
